Profile Since I was a kid I have had a passion for clothing. I can still recall the excitement I felt shopping for clothes with my mom for back to school. Through the years I have paid particular attention to fashion trends while honing my personal style. I would shop often and continually seek out new designers to stay current. After I moved to Chicago, I quickly became frustrated with my inability to find a store that suited me – a regular guy with a sense of style. So I ditched my day job as a lawyer, rolled up my sleeves and set out to create the store I felt was missing in Chicago. I gave some serious thought about what I would want in a men’s shop and at long last came up with a great idea. I decided to bring back the haberdashery – the traditional men’s store of yesteryear. A local, one-stop shop tailored for men and only men. A store where gentlemen received a high level of service, were treated with respect and were made to feel comfortable while shopping for their wardrobe. A shop where men would hang out to talk about events of the day and could take care of their clothing needs for both work and leisure. So, I put a modern spin on that old school store and Haberdash Men’s Shop was born. I created a customized boutique with the perfect mix of clothing, shoes and accessories to take you from weekend to workday. I hand selected an outstanding roster of designers with an emphasis on fit, quality and detail. Finally, I tried to create a space that is comfortable yet contemporary, complete with exceptional customer service that is tailored to the modern man.
